Introduction
Introduction: FundingPips Review and Final Rating
FundingPips is a Dubai-based proprietary trading firm that sells simulated forex and CFD evaluation accounts. This FundingPips review rates the firm Silver Standard, with a composite score of 72.6 out of 100.
Will FundingPips pay you when you profit, or will it find a rule breach first? Payouts do happen at scale. Independent trackers logged about $155 million in payouts as of 2 October 2026, while the firm and some review sites cite $260 million to $312 million. Even so, account-breach and integrity disputes are the main complaint, and they often follow a payout request.
FundingPips, operated by Funding Pips Services Ltd and headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, uses Match-Trader, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader to quote its simulated market prices. The company began trading in late 2022. It is not a regulated broker. Under our five-factor prop intelligence methodology, we weigh payout proof, rule clarity, pricing, infrastructure and staff judgment.
Capital Architecture & Legal Framework
FundingPips runs a simulated model, so no trade reaches a live market. Fees and firm revenue fund payouts, not institutional capital.
This is the demo model, often called B-Book. As of the date of this review, the firm publishes no evidence of A-Book copying to live servers. Traders should treat every payout as a promise from the firm, not a share of real market profits.
The tech stack has changed over time. Match-Trader became the core platform after MetaQuotes ended its partnership, according to Finance Magnates. MetaTrader 5 returned in 2025 and costs nothing extra. cTrader adds $20 per account. FundingPips does not publicly name its liquidity provider.
Regulation is thin. Public directories list a Comoros license, issued by the Mwali International Services Authority (number BFX2024004). That license does not carry the safeguards of an FCA or CySEC permit. A challenge fee is a purchase, not a deposit, so no compensation scheme covers it.
Geography is unclear. One directory lists Iran, Vietnam and the UAE as restricted. Sources also disagree on US and Canadian residents. Some say they are barred, while others say they trade only on Match-Trader. Confirm eligibility before paying.
Account Tiers & Challenge Ecosystem
FundingPips Review: Account Tiers and Prop Firm Challenge Cost
FundingPips sells five models, with accounts from $5,000 to $200,000 and entry fees from $29. A $100,000 two-step challenge costs about $529, which is roughly 2% below the $540 FTMO charges for the same size.
Pricing moves often. A homepage promotion showed $499 for the $100,000 two-step, and a tracker listed $522. FunderPro’s classic $100,000 account sat at $539 in July 2026. FundingPips therefore sits at the low end of its peers, not far below them.
The prop firm challenge cost grows with failure. Industry pass rates run near 5% to 15%, according to PropFirmMap. Three attempts on a $529 account would cost $1,587.
| Model | Phase 1 / 2 target | Daily loss | Max loss | Top split |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zero | None | 3% | 5% trailing | 95% |
| 1-Step Flex | 12% | 3% | 12% static | 85% |
| 2-Step Standard | 8% / 5% | 5% | 10% static | 100% |
| 2-Step Flex | 10% / 6% | 4% | 12% static | 85% |
| 2-Step Pro | 6% / 6% | 3% | 6% static | 80% |
Based on a third-party tracker as of the date of this review. Earlier versions differed.
The two-step path costs more time but gives the widest limits. FTMO’s baseline is a 10% then 5% target with a 10% overall loss limit. FundingPips Standard asks for 8% then 5%, so its first hurdle sits 2 points lower. The one-step path skips a phase. However, it needs a 12% gain on the Flex version.
Zero is the instant funding prop firm option. It skips evaluation entirely. In return, it applies a 5% trailing equity limit, which is half the 10% static cushion on Standard.
The prop firm scaling plan has four levels. Level 1 needs 4 payouts and 10% profit. At the top, Level 4 (called Hot Seat) needs 16 payouts and 40% profit. It doubles the initial balance and offers a 100% split. Per-trader allocation tops out at $2 million, and one tracker says Zero accounts cannot merge.
Evaluation Rules & Fine Print
FundingPips Rules: The Fine Print
FundingPips rules are mostly static and clear, but funded accounts add restrictions that evaluations do not. Read both rule sets before buying.
- Drawdown basis: Daily loss counts balance and equity. Floating losses therefore count. Max loss is static on every model except Zero.
- Minimum days: 3 trading days on the two-step and one-step models.
- Consistency: 35% applies to On Demand (90% split) and monthly (100% split) rewards. Zero applies 15% at every payout, plus 7 profitable days per 30.
- News: Evaluations allow news trading. On funded accounts, profits from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of high-impact news do not count. Zero uses a 10-minute breach window.
- Weekends: One tracker records a temporary funded-account weekend ban from 29 January 2026. Zero also bans weekend holds. Check current terms.
- Banned styles: Hedging, tick scalping, latency arbitrage, gap trading and cross-account copying.
- Automation: Personal EAs work in evaluations. Funded accounts allow third-party tools only for trade management.
- Fees: A $10 withdrawal fee applies per payout. The minimum request is 1% of account size. These are hidden prop firm fees only for buyers who skip the terms.
Payout Reliability & Reputation
Based on publicly available payout logs, PropFirmMatch tracked $155.2 million as of 2 October 2026. Another tracker cited more than $260 million across 127,000 payouts. These totals differ because trackers capture only part of the flow. Neither figure is audited.
The FundingPips payout cycle is flexible. Rewards can arrive weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or on demand. Processing takes one to three working days, roughly 24 to 72 hours. Fees on the 2-Step Standard return after the fourth reward.
Reviews are mixed but mostly positive. Trustpilot shows about 4.5 out of 5 across roughly 60,000 reviews. PropFirmMatch shows 4.2 out of 5 from 1,226 verified traders. Positive themes include quick payouts, tight spreads and clear targets.
The grievances repeat. Traders cite device-match bans after buying accounts through others, and a cousin’s purchase triggered one closure in October 2026. Others dispute daily-loss breaches measured on floating equity. In one case, the firm said a breach window can exist between server recording and platform restriction. Some also report that evaluation rules differ from funded rules.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Static drawdown, a low entry price and flexible payouts lead the strengths. Funded-stage restrictions and account-integrity disputes lead the weaknesses.
Strengths
- Static max loss on four of five models: 10% on Standard against Zero’s 5% trailing
- Low prop firm challenge cost: $529 against FTMO’s $540
- Flexible payout cycles: Weekly to monthly, 24 to 72 hours processing
- Large payout record: $155 million tracked, $260 million+ claimed
- Deep scaling plan: $2 million ceiling
Weaknesses
- Unregulated Comoros license: No FCA or CySEC safeguards
- Funded-stage rule changes: News profit exclusion, consistency rules
- Integrity disputes: Device-match bans after payout requests
- Extra costs: $10 withdrawal fee, $20 cTrader surcharge
- Zero’s trailing limit: 5% trailing equity, 15% consistency
Verdict
FundingPips earns a Silver Standard rating of 72.6 out of 100. Its payout record is strong. Rules are mostly clear, too. Even so, funded-stage restrictions and device-integrity enforcement keep it out of the Gold band.
Disciplined traders who risk under 1% per trade, use a single account and trade on their own device fit best. Those who accept a simulated, unregulated model also fit. News scalpers, account sharers and beginners who expect a live-capital pipeline do not.
Among peers, FundingPips competes with FTMO at $540 and FunderPro at $539 for the $100,000 tier. It undercuts both slightly. On the other hand, FundingPips offers more payout flexibility but less regulatory polish.

Staff Insight
Staff Insight
Our record review found details that raw statistics miss.
First, entity naming varies. Some directories cite FP Funding LLC, while others cite Funding Pips Services Ltd, registered in Comoros. The CEO also runs Tradin, a brokerage, and Level 10 traders can list on its investor marketplace. Readers should map these layers before relying on any single legal name.
Second, marketing and practice diverge at the margin. The homepage promises zero reward denials. Yet traders report integrity-based account closures near payout dates. The firm calls these closures rule enforcement, not denials. That wording difference matters.
Third, enforcement timing looks mechanical. The firm acknowledged that traders can open positions after a recorded breach. Traders should therefore check equity manually and never trust the dashboard alone.
Finally, evaluation and funded rules differ. Traders who pass on news-heavy strategies may lose payout credit later.
