Introduction
This FundedNext review starts with the question that matters most. Will the firm pay you when you profit? Based on publicly available payout logs, FundedNext pays at scale. The disqualification risk is real, though. It sits in the funded-stage fine print, not in the challenge.
FundedNext, operated by GrowthNext F.Z.C and headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, uses its own server infrastructure and unnamed liquidity providers to price its simulated accounts. The firm was incorporated on March 18, 2022, and CEO Abdullah Jayed manages it. Under our five-factor prop intelligence methodology, it earns a Silver Standard classification with a composite score of 74.9 out of 100. So, is FundedNext legit? Yes, as a paying company. It is not a regulated broker, however, and no regulator guarantees your payout.
Capital Architecture & Legal Framework
FundedNext runs a simulated evaluation model, not a live A-Book. Revenue comes mainly from challenge fees, and payouts are a contractual promise from a private company.
Like other retail prop firms, it operates outside CFTC and NFA registration, and its accounts are simulated. A name search in the NFA’s BASIC database will return nothing. That result is normal for this category. It is also a reason to read the contract carefully.
The corporate structure is layered. One third-party summary lists a Comoros-registered entity, FundedNext Ltd, alongside GrowthNext F.Z.E. Sources disagree on the exact suffix of the Dubai entity. Confirm it in the terms before you pay. FNmarkets is a separate optional brokerage arm and is not the execution entity for prop accounts.
On technology, FundedNext offers MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader through its own platform licenses and liquidity-provider integrations. Restrictions apply. Its help center says $100,000 and $200,000 accounts cannot be bought on cTrader or Match-Trader, with an exception for U.S. traders on Match-Trader. The firm re-entered the U.S. with futures in April 2025, then relaunched CFD trading there on Match-Trader that November. The CFD and futures divisions use separate KYC and separate wallets.
Account Tiers & Challenge Ecosystem
FundedNext sells accounts from $2,000 to $200,000, and the flagship $100,000 Stellar 2-Step cost $529.99 on the order page on July 6, 2026. That price comes from a third-party capture of the official site. Prices change often, so check checkout.
The July 2026 capture listed the $25,000 account at $142.49, down from $189.99, and the $200,000 account at $1,049.99. The flagship fee equals about 0.53% of the capital offered. That ratio is the useful yardstick for a prop firm challenge cost, since sticker prices mean little across account sizes.
The audit team could not verify a reliable industry median for a $100,000 account. We therefore benchmark against FTMO, the category incumbent. A cost comparison against FTMO’s current checkout page is still needed before you buy.
The pathways differ in mechanics:
- Stellar 2-Step: Phase 1 target 8%, Phase 2 target 5%. The first funded withdrawal comes 21 days after activation, then every two weeks.
- Stellar 1-Step: One phase. Funded withdrawals can start sooner.
- Stellar Lite: An entry product starting near $32.
- Stellar Instant: An instant funding prop firm option with no evaluation. It starts at a 70% split, uses a trailing loss limit and gives no fee refund.
On a $100,000 2-Step with a combined $13,000 target, the 15% challenge-phase bonus works out to about $1,950. That offsets the fee for passers. Conditions changed for accounts bought after January 12, 2026, and U.S. clients are excluded.
The prop firm scaling plan runs through FundedNext Pro. It advertises capital increases of roughly 40% every four months, with a ceiling of $4 million. Treat that ceiling as a funnel top. The firm publishes payout totals, not pass rates.
Evaluation Rules & Fine Print
The Stellar 2-Step is structurally forgiving in the evaluation but carries more restrictions once you are funded. The rules below reflect FundedNext rules as published in July and August 2026.
| Rule | Stellar 2-Step detail |
|---|---|
| Profit targets | 8% (Phase 1), 5% (Phase 2) |
| Daily loss limit | 5% |
| Max overall loss | 10%, static Static |
| Drawdown basis | Balance-based, so floating profit does not raise your loss floor |
| Minimum trading days | 5 |
| News trading | Allowed in evaluation |
| Funded news rule | 40% deduction on profits from trades within 5 minutes of high-impact events |
| Margin rule | 70% or more cumulative margin usage is flagged as gambling-style behavior |
| Funded risk limits | 3% per-trade risk limit and stop-loss requirement |
A static, balance-based drawdown suits swing traders because open profit does not shrink the buffer. That design beats FTMO’s 1-Step trailing model for hold-through styles. The 70% margin rule and 3% risk limit remain active, according to a correction on FundedTrading’s review page. Futures evaluations add a 40% consistency rule. The sources reviewed do not confirm weekend-holding restrictions, so check the account page.
Next come the hidden prop firm fees. A processing fee of up to 3.5% applies to every withdrawal, whatever the method. On a $5,000 payout, that is $175. It turns an 80% base split into roughly 77.2%. It trims even the 95% add-on split to about 91.7%. The 95% figure is also a paid upgrade at purchase, not the default.
Rule stability is a concern. In January 2026, FundedNext cut Gold leverage on the Stellar 2-Step mid-cycle, repricing open strategies. One reviewer later flagged that a specific claim about this change needed correction. Even so, the pattern of mid-cycle changes belongs in your risk assessment.
Payout Reliability & Reputation
The firm’s FundedNext payout record is among the most documented in the industry.
Figures vary by tracker and date. FXEmpire cited more than $68 million in payouts verified by Payout Junction. Another tracker using blockchain verification logged about $201.3 million across 88,129 payouts, with a record single payout of $346,837.90. That tracker counts only payouts it can see. Separately, CurvedTrading reported more than $15 million paid out in February 2026 alone. The tracker’s own trust score was 60 out of 100, and it noted unanswered trader complaints.
Speed has improved. The company reported a median payout time of 4 hours and 44 minutes in February. Since April 2026, a 24-hour guarantee applies, backed by a $1,000 penalty if the firm misses it. A self-imposed penalty is a strong trust signal.
Sentiment is mostly positive. Trustpilot shows over 65,000 reviews, with many praising fast responses and smooth payouts. Complaints also appear. One April 2026 reviewer said a “compliance review” led to a rejected payout after weeks of rule-following trading. That is one anecdote. Still, it matches the main risk: discretion in funded-stage review. Three other firms had Trustpilot profiles suspended for fake reviews in early 2026, and FundedNext was not among them.
Strengths & Weaknesses
The firm’s strengths are speed, transparency tools and structure. Its weaknesses are fees and funded-stage friction. Here is how they compare with the field.
Strengths
- Payout speed: Median near 5 hours; 24-hour guarantee with $1,000 penalty
- Drawdown design: Static, balance-based 10% limit on the flagship
- Challenge bonus: 15% profit share on the evaluation, unique among major firms
- Clarity Cards: Live dashboard tracker that warns before rule breaches
- Platforms: MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader
Weaknesses
- Withdrawal fee: Up to 3.5% on every payout
- Add-on pricing: 90–95% splits require paid add-ons
- Funded news rule: 40% deduction near high-impact news
- Rule changes: Mid-cycle Gold leverage cut in January 2026
- Product sprawl: Seven account families make generic advice unreliable
FundedNext also has about three to four years of history, against FTMO’s nine. That means less data from market stress periods. Check each account’s page for the true prop firm challenge cost, fees and rules before buying.
Verdict
FundedNext earns a Silver Standard rating with 74.9 points. It suits intermediate retail traders who hold positions for hours or days, will read their account type’s payout page, and can price in the 3.5% fee. It does not suit news-window scalpers or anyone who compares splits without checking fees.
Against peers, FundedNext competes with FTMO on rule structure and beats it on payout speed guarantees. It trails the incumbent on track record length. FundingPips is the budget-entry alternative.

Staff Insight
Staff Insight
These notes come from a desk audit of published rules, payout data and trader reports. They are not hands-on execution tests.
Entity layering: Public sources name GrowthNext in Dubai and a Comoros-registered FundedNext Ltd. FNmarkets sits apart. Traders should confirm which entity signs their contract.
Marketing versus practice: The 95% split is a paid add-on. The effective base split after the withdrawal fee lands near 77%.
Transparency wins: Clarity Cards, launched in May 2026, are the most useful rule-tracking feature we reviewed this year.
Platform friction: Large-account platform limits on cTrader and Match-Trader can surprise buyers who pick a platform first.
Unresolved data gaps: We found no published pass rates, no verified weekend-holding rule, and no confirmed execution-latency data. Treat the technical score as provisional.
